Ramen and Maple Milk Tea

So, good morning. Since I woke up late and was going to miss a class this morning, I didn't have time to have breakfast. Well, that happens often these days. So, I have breakfast/lunch at school.

This is what I had, a cup ramen "Super-Cup Shouyu"

AND this! MAPLE MILK TEA! Yay for Canada! :D This says "World Travel Series," so I'm looking forward to the next one. This tastes like...yeah, milk tea with maple syrup...of course.

Heaviest Snow in Tokyo 2012!

Snow!! It's snowing today in Tokyo! And I believe it's the heaviest of this season. I'm excited like a kid, but it's really annoying coming in my shoes. :/ I think it piled 5 cm - 10 cm. Pretty lot.

I filmed it snowing in Shinjuku in the morning. Everyone looked annoyed. haha

Isn't this beautiful? Hanazono Shrine in a snow scene. Those bear trees with snows on their branches, it looks nice.

OH! And I missed the first class today due to slow bus and train! It took me about an hour and half to get to the station when it usually takes thirty minutes or so. But for goodness, the professor didn't come, either. So, I missed the class but it didn't count! lol Yay!

Anyhow, I hope it won't get worse. Heavy snow is fun only watching from inside my home.

Cod Roe & Natto Spaghetti!? D:

Today I had this in a Italian restauran with mi amigas for dinner.

Jaaaan!

Codfish's eggs are called たらこ, and 明太子 (めんたいこ) is just what spice (red mustard) is added to たらこ.

Have you ever eaten cod roe? No? Hae you ever tried natto? Yes? No? Have you ever tried both of them together? No. Have you ever tried them with spaghetti? I bet no.

Ughhh it was delicious, but it was sticky as you can imagine.

If you like spaghetti, why not add some natto and maybe shouyu-ish flavor amd make it "Japanese Italian" spaghetti? Maybe add some mushrooms.

Gelato

The other day, I had a milk strawberry gelato after my part-time job. It was like a gift for myself.

It was called プリンセスアン, about which I have no idea what it means. "Princess Anne"? Maybe? lol

Well, that's pretty much it for this post.

Yeah, there are other flavors. But I love strawberries above almost all. I love sweets and ice cream!

My German Canadian Bag

Hola! ¿Cómo son ustedes?
Ça va?

Soy bien, y Je suis bién!

Okay. My random español and Français.

This is a picture of my bag. Shoulder-bag, I think it's called.

I put a seal of Canadian flag. So what? I just want to show that I like Canada.

AND! I expect a little that someone from Canada would talk to me, like "Hey, are you from Canada?" or something.

So far, NO ONE has ever talked to me about it. Naaah.

Why not? If I saw a Japanese flag on someone's bag when I'm abroad, I'd probably randomly talk to them, like "Oh, that's Japan's flag, are you studying Japanese or...do you know it's Japan's flag?" lol

Well.

Maybe I just haven't happened to meet anyone from Canada yet. Or from the first place, why would anyone from Canada talk to someone that has Canadian flag on his bag? lol

Anyways, if you are reading this, living in Japan, and thought "I think I've seen that bag before" and if it was in Tokyo, most likely in Shinjuku, it must have been me.

Or if you see a guy with that bag in the future, talk to me. I'm mostly in Shinjuku with that bag.

Dreaming is Such an Mysterious Phenomenon

I had a nice dream this morning. I don't remember what it exactly was like though.

I met Becky, a Japanese-British female figure on TV, and we where playing in some park with some kids. She is a pretty girl, and she's one of my favorite figures on TV.

It's often said, what we dream is what we want or expect in real life, or sometimes be it from the memory of the past. We see what we have in the brain in dreams. In other words, we can't see what we don't have in our brain, this in mind. However, imagination is part of what we have. So we can still see what we have never seen or experienced in real life.

I sometimes flew in dreams, but I have never, of course, flown in real life. That'd be awesome!

Conscious dream, do you call it? The kind of dream in which you know it's a dream. In this kind of dream, you can control everything. I have never had such a dream yet, but I sometimes try to when I'm going to sleep.

How to do it from what I've heard is: stay still on the bed and calm down, try not to move any part of the body and focus on doing so, but at the same time, relax your mind and try to sleep. And there will come the line where you are between asleep and awake. Keeping your mind awake, but let the body sleep. Now your body doesn't move, but you are awake.

My other idea is always ask, "is this a dream?" even you think you are not dreaming. Make that question habit and you'd do the same in dreams too! Sounds easy, eh? Not really when it comes to when you are really dreaming.

But imagine, if you can control anything in dreams, wouldn't that be awesome? You can fly, drive a F1 machine, go to space, and men, you can do this and that.

I'll keep trying to have conscious dream, and I'll let you guys know!

Oh and there's another thing. It's not dream, but kind of letting your spiriy out of the body. It's different from unconscious dreams. You go into the real world, but not with a physical body.

Well, I don't know if there's such a thing, but THIS would be the best. It's just like a invisible body.

Maybe it's just a supernatural phenomenon.

Shinjuku Free Walk

Today I went to Shinjuku for some job.

On Sundays, one of the main streets in Shinjuku is opened for free walking (what would you call it?).

Cars and technically bicycles too are not allowed to enter the area while the street is opened for walkers.

Talking of free walking day in Tokyo, the random mass murder in Akihabara in 2008, on June 8th around noon, is not a tragedy of the past of long time ago.

3 people were killed driven over by a truck, 4 people were stubbed and killed.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make this post sad today.

See you later.

Fetish

I believe everyone's got a sort of fetish for something, if not creepy-ish ones, and in my case is nose. It's not "the" fetish of mine, but I have "favorite" noses and not such. lol

Well, where should I start from? This is going to be long, I guess. This is totally my personal story.

Anyways,
I think lives are art, meaning creatures are artistic. Whether or not "every creature was created by God," they look so well-made that it seems every creature is best with their appearance, size, etc.

So, above all, as a human being myself, I find humans beautiful but especially female (mostly because I am male). Regardless of ugliness (or personal preferances, may it be) of face or body, whatever you count for, how female looks is beautiful, amazingly, if she is has the ideal appearance for me.

Eyes, hair, nose, chine, cheaks, eyebrows, teeth, lips - everything together creates perfection.

In terms of kinds of nose I like, I like sharp and tall noses, which is common for caucasians. This is maybe because Adians have kind of the opposite kinds of noses? Mine is maybe not small (as opposite to tall), but not sharp.

So, my favorite noses of whom I see on media are of Kristen Stewart, Natalie Portman, Avril Lavigne, and so on. I just can't write everybody. I heard Natalie had a surgery to make her nose smaller to kind of hide her "Jewish-ness." Whyyy?!

Here you go, I looked up some of their photos.

This is not the best, but this looks good. Well, Kristen Stewart is my favorite girl in terms of her face anyways...not just her nose. Eyes, eyebrows, mouth, teeth, etc.

This is Natalie when she was younger. OMG, She just looks beautiful...Everything is just fine!

And this is in her 30's, I think. Still beautiful...

Oh my goodness.

When I see a female's face, I first look at the nose. Well, it's in the center of the face, where else would my eyes go? lol Maybe only my case.

Oh I can't forget her, Carrie-Anne Moss, Trinity in Matrix. In the movie scenes, I like her nose (as well as her character as Trinity and she's just a beautiful woman), but not in pictures. Hmm, you don't know. lol

Where will this story lead?

Okay, I can't describe how my "perfect" type of nose looks, but I, like, can't help watch women's noses as I walk by every day.

I would just love to touch it, pinch it, watch it when I see the "perfect" nose. lol If I have a gf who has the perfect nose pf my type, yippeee! OMG.

Well, I'm a loser to be thinking just like that when I don't have one. I'll have fun with my nose in the meantime.

LOL

I'm serious.

But no cosmetic surgery, please. Natural ones win.

Okay, I shall stop before you guys get the hell creeped out of me, or you already are.

Finally, here's my nose from front and side. lol

Alright, see you next time.

Next, I will talk about my favorite type of boobs and butt.

Just kidding.

Continuing Blogs

I figured out that a creative, cool title, neatly orgaanized contents, interesting contents matter a lot to gain viewers and make my blogs nice.

I'l try it eventually.

Today's Lunch

I woke up at 8:30 am today, and re-slept and re-woke up at 12:30 pm.

Now I'm preparing lunch. I'm only boiling a pouched karubi (originally Korean name).

And I'm having this! Natto miso shiru.

And this is it. Whole lunch of today. It was good! Natto misoshiru smelled literally of natto. SMELL was not so nice, but taste wise, it was good. It was like just adding some nato to regular miso shiru. I would say, it'd be a good practice for those who don't like eating natto itself.

Bye!

An Memory-full Moment

I'm writing about an experience I found interesting and that I felt happy about.

Today, I was choosing which body soap to buy with my mom as we had run out of ours at home.
And I stumbled upon one fragrance I felt familiar with. It was a second that I realized where I smelled it before, in Canada, in a hotel. I clearly remember the memory. I was staying at a hotel, which actually was more of a dormitory, that originally was used by the students of University of Montreal. It costed only about $43 or so for one night.

So, what is this all about? Because it was a cheap room, it had only bed, desk, some towel, and one hand soap. The bathroom was shared by on the same floor.

I soon found out that one soap was not enough, or the hand soap I had was not the kind that I wanted to use to wash my hair. It was just a plain hand soap!

It was evening when I arrived the hotel, so I decided to go out to get body soap and shampoo, and body towel as well as dinner for that day. I walked all the way to the nearest supermarket Metro. I don't remember how long it took me, maybe 30 minutes or more (I got lost after I finished shopping anyway...lol). I bought one shampoo/rinse, one hand/body soap (bigger than the one I had at the hotel) and some snacks and drinks. My hands got full of those stuff.

Anyways!!
After I got to the hotel after having got lost, I had dinner and took shower. I used the soap I'd got.
Yay!

And today, I remembered the fragrance of that soap in the drag store.

Such an unexpected moment of getting a memory back from half a year ago.

By the way, here's the video of the room I stayed at if you are interested.

And here's the video in the morning. The scenery was awesome.

Thanks for Reading!

My Introduction

Hello.

I think I should have done this at the very first time, but I didn't, so I'm doing it now.

Of course you can check my profile, but here it is.

My name is Kouhei, a 20 year-old Japanese man. I'm currently living in Tokyo, and I'm planning to go study in Canada in months.

I was originally making videos on YouTube (my channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/jp10IamMeNotU if you are interested), and as I wanted to gain more views and subscribers on my channel, I decided to creat blog (originally just one but soon changed my mind to make several).

But I also hope that through my blogs, as well as videos, you can learn something or AT LEAST find it fun/interesting. That'll be my pleasure.

So,THIS blog is kind of an extention of my YouTube channel. So I'm connecting my YouTube channel and this blog. YouTube was the primary place.

Anyways, that's roughly about it.

And to tell you a bit more details --- I hope I could help those interested in Japan/Japanese learn Japanese, things about Japan, or discover new faces if Japan. Also, I hope I can help Japanese people learn English.

As a native Japanese having a fair level of English skills (I dare say it, yes), I believe I can help both Japanese and those who are interested in Japan/Japanese. Also, not using what I have when I can offer them is not what I believe in, so I'm using my abilities if this makes sense.

I may not know what to do or what you want, so if you have a chance, please let me know. I might not be able to (or want to...lol) take your suggestions, requests, claims, etc. but I'll take your feedbacks to myself. I'm only an amateur, not like a "pro" blogger/vlogger, so don't expect anything beyond what I can do.

For your info, I also have Facebook. facebook.com/KouheiSmith

Thank you

New Project Begins!

Hey!!!
I've just started a blog so I can gain more views and subscribers on my YouTube channel.

Honestly, I have no idea what to write about for now.
I didn't even know which blog I should use.
But since I have a Google account and I found Google's free blog service, I gave it a try.

Basically on here, I will keep you guys (which I never know who it is) updated and informed about things I found interesting or benefitial for you, like Japanese stuff, English stuff, etc.
I think most of my posts will be in English (because I'm too lazy to write both in English and Japanese), but who knows?

Depending on the kinds of topics, could it be in English or Japanese.
Honestly, I don't care. Like my videos on YouTube (here you go: http://www.youtube.com/user/jp10IamMeNotU), my policy is randomness.
I can't keep it if I have to be organized. But, if you have suggestions, requests, comments, donation, hug, kiss, whatever it is that you want to give me, it'll be appreciated.

Okay, that's about it today. Au revoir, or hasta la vista.

Au revoir
Hasta la vista
